I had the pleasure of helping a sweet bride with a few details for her bridesmaids party.
She was keeping her party simple and small, two qualities which I love for events. That way you can focus on spending time with your guests!
I made these sweet little boxes for her, which she filled with some yummy family secret cookies! There were some leftover so I snuck a bite and they were delicious, it’s no wonder everyone raves about them.
I thought it was so thoughtful to include something homemade, the girls loved the cookies!
As another Thank you to her girlfriends she got them each nail polish to wear on the wedding day. I added a ribbon and a little tag to match the cookie boxes.
Arent they darling!
She was planning on playing a few games, one being the ring hunting game, basically you hide rings around the house and whoever finds the most, wins a prize.
I put together a fun gift basket as the prize, I made sure to find out what things her girlfriends were into, and customized it to fit their interests.
It’s always funner winning something when you know you will like everything in the basket!
I made sure to include colourful pens and notebooks, crafting supplies and a couple of beauty related items, since this is what they are into.
Customizing a gift basket is a fun way to make the reciever feel extra special and shows you put thought into it.
Gift baskets are probably my favourite thing to give, I love personalizing them. Hunting for unique items is so much fun!
When planning a party don’t be afraid to ask for help, no one expects you to do it all yourself, keeping things casual and simple is the way to go.
Having a theme or colour theme will make planning things out a lot easier as you will have a starting point and when you start your shopping you can focus on that instead of getting to the store and getting fluster.
I know the feeling, I’ve been there!
Take inventory of what you have and make a list of what you will need to purchase.
I make a list on my phone that way I make sure I have it with me when I go to the store.
I hope I was able to help save your sanity and you picked up some ideas for your next party.
