Hi guys, ok so I know, I know Easter is still far off but I just couldn’t resist sharing these oh so easy and cute treat holders.
They would be perfect for gifting!
You can customize them, colour, embellishments what ever your little hearts desire.
This is a super quick tutorial I promise you.
You will need:
felt, your choice of colour
hot glue gun
yarn and needle
Start off by tracing an Easter egg onto the felt. I just googled Easter egg template and found one.
Once you have it traced, cut it out. I ended up using a pen as the pencil wasn’t showing up very well.
Next you will cut the bottom piece out, just like you did for the egg, trace in onto the felt.
I took the egg template and free handed the jaded edges and cut it.
You should have 2 pieces that look like this.
I sewed the pink egg to add detail, but for the yellow egg I just glued it to keep it simple.
I’m obsessed with polka dots so I thought it would look cute on the eggs.
I love the way it turned out.
I tied the yarn to make a pretty bow.
I had some sheer ribbon hanging out and I thought the yellow and pink would compliment each other nicely!
You could use these in so many ways. Use them as part of the table setting, stick some Easter chocolate, some cute stickers or candy in them.
Use them as the utensil holder. Or have a quick Easter craft with all the supplies tucked away in them!
